i'm all teary eyes this evening. partially because i'm so allergic to that cottonwood fuzz around in the air this week, but mostly because friday night lights is so darn good. that show is great. a few days ago i was at the library and randomly came across disc1 v.1. the first episode was just ok, but by the time i got to the 3rd i was hooked. and now 8 episodes in i want more more more. but i have to put them on hold at the library. the characters are so endearing. and man, if i were in high school i would totally date matt saracen! what a sweetheart.

boo to tornadoes, thunderstorms, and hail. they are fun when you don't have plans and watch them roll on by (hopefully at a distance), but not when you would like to travel 260 miles for a bridal shower. sucky. i'm still so surprised every time i hear the siren goes off, who knew there were tornadoes in wisconsin? definitely not me.
all day i've been anxiously checking the radar. massive storms approach, then fly on by just missing. then it looks like a big break, perfect for my drive south right? but no, out of nowhere more deep red spots appear. it looks like the next 36 hours will be more of the same.
it's interesting especially because when i google severe tornadoes wisconsin up pops a lot of records, all talking about F2 & F3 tornadoes ripping through the state on this exact day last year.
